Hsinchu Islamic Association (HIA) held a Khotmil Qur’an (communal Quran completion reading) on Sunday, December 7, 2025. This activity serves as an opportunity for worshippers to read the Quran collectively from Surah Al-Fatihah to An-Nas in one sitting.

About Khotmil Qur’an
Khotmil Qur’an is an activity of reading the entire Quran together until completing all 30 juz. Worshippers are divided into small groups, each reading a specific juz simultaneously. This method allows the completion to be achieved in just a few hours. The event concludes with the dua khatmul Qur’an (supplication upon completing the Quran) led by an imam or ustadz. The supplication after completing the Quran holds a special status and is believed to be more readily accepted by Allah SWT.

Invitation to Worshippers
HIA invites all worshippers to set aside time on Sunday morning for worship together. There are no special requirements. Worshippers simply need to come with a Quran and the spirit of drawing closer to Allah. For those who feel their Quran reading skills are limited, this activity is in fact an opportunity to learn and improve their abilities.
