Our Vision
To become a center for religious activities and community fellowship that brings peace, blessings, and benefit to all Muslim congregants in Hsinchu.
Our Mission
Our Activities
Hsinchu Islamic Association (HIA) was established in response to the needs of the Muslim community in Hsinchu, Taiwan, for a place of worship, religious guidance, and an organized platform for fellowship. The presence of students, migrant workers, Muslim families, and the Indonesian community in Hsinchu encouraged the formation of a supportive community that helps one another practice their faith while living abroad.
Before being formally recognized as an organization, Muslim activities in Hsinchu had already grown through congregational prayers, Islamic study gatherings, Ramadan programs, Friday prayers, and various community-based social initiatives. Mushola Hsinchu later became one of the important centers for congregants to gather, learn, and strengthen Islamic brotherhood.
Institutionally, HIA is registered as an Islamic religious organization in Hsinchu City and is located on Zhulian Street, East District, Hsinchu City. The presence of HIA plays an important role in supporting the needs of Muslims, particularly in the areas of worship, Islamic education, religious consultation, social activities, and community services.
Over time, HIA has not only served as a gathering place for congregants, but also as a bridge between the Muslim community and local Taiwanese society. This role is reflected in HIA’s involvement in Eid al-Fitr activities in Hsinchu, as well as its support for the provision of Muslim prayer facilities at Nanliao Harbor.
With the spirit of da’wah, service, and trustworthiness, HIA continues to strive to become a second home for Muslims in Hsinchu. HIA is committed to preserving Islamic values, strengthening brotherhood, and bringing benefit to the Muslim community and the wider society in Taiwan.
